RFID,
or radio frequency identification
is a non-contact identification method, which is
hailed as a core component of ubiquitous computing
infrastructures thanks to its remote, multi-point
identification capacity, among other points. Being
the first in the world to adopt RFID technologies
in the area of document
management, the National Archives of Korea has allowed
document management processes to be controlled
in a fully integrated end-to-end manner. The document
management system of NAK will be a nationwide
standard and serve as a reference for other agencies
handling records and archives. |
