  The building is a visual representation of a jewel case for national records.

Engrave the origin and cast type. The birth of ancient records; the introduction of a superior
printing press.
Write down words. Exhibits the remarkable records management system of the Joseon era and records kept in Hangeul.
Overcome adversities. The age of efflorescence, the Japanese occupation,
the liberation of Korea, and the Korean war.
